RoleMatch — Support
Contact support
Email us at hello@erosdowgroup.com.
RoleMatch has no accounts and stores no session to recover. Do not attach an unredacted CV to a support email; describe the file type and error instead.
When contacting support, please include:
- Your browser, device, and operating-system version
- The page you were using and a description of the issue
- Steps to reproduce the problem if possible
- Any error messages or redacted screenshots
Troubleshooting
Before contacting support, try:
- Returning to the start page; refreshing clears any temporary session
- Trying a current version of a modern browser
Common questions
Who is RoleMatch for?
RoleMatch is a UK-first, English-language service intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children and does not ask for age. If someone under 18 uses it, their CV and answers receive the same temporary, no-storage processing.
Which CV files can I upload?
PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown files up to 8 MB are supported. The file must contain selectable text; image-only scanned PDFs need OCR and are not supported in v1.
Does RoleMatch keep my CV or answers?
The app's own server process reads the CV in memory. It is never written to disk, a database or a log. Your profile, answers and results remain only in the current browser session; closing or refreshing the tab erases them.
What do job feeds receive?
Only generated search terms, the location text you typed and the salary floor you chose. The CV, its extracted text, your profile and your interview answers never reach a job feed.
Is the work-pattern summary an assessment?
No. RoleMatch uses deterministic rules rather than an AI or psychological assessment. The results are heuristic signals based on your CV, answers and the vacancy text, and are not careers advice.
Why are there few or no vacancies?
The three keyless public feeds are strongest for remote and technology roles. A narrow location or non-technical profile can return few or no roles; the empty state shows the search terms so you can adjust the profile or constraints.
What happens when a job feed is unavailable?
RoleMatch continues with the remaining feeds and names the one that failed. If all feeds are unavailable, it keeps your summary visible and offers a retry.
Why did my CV extract incorrectly?
Two-column and heavily styled PDFs can extract in the wrong reading order. Review the profile carefully and correct inferred skills, titles and search terms; DOCX or plain text usually parses more reliably.
How do I delete my data?
There is no stored account or session to delete. Close or refresh the tab to erase the in-memory session. Email privacy@erosdowgroup.com for a privacy question.
Known issues
- Vacancy coverage is remote- and technology-heavy; UK regional and non-technical roles can be sparse.
- Image-only scanned PDFs are rejected because v1 has no OCR.
- Complex two-column or heavily styled PDFs can extract in the wrong reading order.
