Data practices
| Collects personal data | Yes |
| Uses analytics | No |
| Uses crash reporting | No |
| Serves ads | No |
| Uses cookies | No |
| Uses third-party SDKs | The browser makes no third-party requests: no external scripts, fonts or images are loaded. CV parsing remains inside the app's own server process. |
| Requires account | No |
| Stores data remotely | No |
| Tracks users | No |
| Collects children's data | Not knowingly — RoleMatch is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. It has no age gate, so an under-18 user could still upload a CV; if they do, it receives the same transient, no-storage processing. |
| Processes payments | No |
Third-party services
- Arbeitnow — server-side vacancy feed; requests are limited to generated search terms, typed location and chosen salary floor
- Jobicy — server-side vacancy feed; requests are limited to generated search terms, typed location and chosen salary floor
- Remote OK — server-side vacancy feed; requests are limited to generated search terms, typed location and chosen salary floor
What data is collected
During a session, RoleMatch processes the uploaded CV and its extracted text, the profile and corrections, the location text and salary floor you enter, your working preferences and interview answers, and vacancy results returned by public feeds. It does not collect an account, login, password or email address, and it never requests device location.
How data is used
The app's own server process reads the CV in memory so RoleMatch can build a profile. The CV, its text, the profile and interview answers never reach a job feed or other third party. Server-side job-feed requests are limited to generated search terms, the location text you typed and the salary floor you chose. Vacancy text is shown as plain text with its source credited and linked.
Data retention
The CV file is processed in memory and is never written to disk, a database or a log. Nothing persists between sessions: closing the browser tab destroys the profile, interview answers and results. RoleMatch has no account, database, browser storage or recovery record.
Your choices
Uploading a CV is optional and starts a temporary session. You can correct inferred profile details before continuing. Close or refresh the tab to erase the in-memory session. No account exists to recover or delete; privacy questions can be sent to privacy@erosdowgroup.com.
