Common questions
What does CBAM Compliance OS do?
It organises products, suppliers, trade movements and evidence; highlights missing operational data; and prepares a readiness report for expert review.
Is it legal, tax, customs or verification advice?
No. Findings are operational prompts, not legal scope, liability, filing or verification decisions. Confirm obligations with official guidance and appropriate professional advisers.
How do I use the workspace?
Start with products and commodity codes, add suppliers and evidence contacts, record movements, then review the open findings. Resolve or explain gaps before generating a report.
Can I upload confidential evidence?
Not in the browser-local founder demo. Private evidence storage and cross-organisation isolation have been tested on invitation-only staging, but real customer evidence must wait for named accounts, approved production hosting and final privacy terms.
How do I delete or export data?
Send an authorised request through the contact in the signed pilot agreement. The proposed default is deletion within 30 days of written cancellation unless another legal or contractual requirement applies.
Why does a finding say needs review?
The v1 intentionally avoids legal determinations. Each finding explains the data that triggered it and the next operational action; a qualified adviser or responsible customer owner makes the final decision.
Known issues
- The workspace is a private launch candidate and is not yet open for self-service account creation.
- Reports require manual review and are not filings, legal advice or emissions verification.
- Production hosting, approved legal terms and named pilot onboarding remain pending.
