Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for profiles, challenges, video replies and votes
What data is collected
Riff requires an account and stores the following on its backend (Supabase): your email address, your username and optional profile details, the video replies you upload (and their thumbnails), the challenges you create, your votes, and your competitive stats (Elo, wins/losses, streak, XP).
How data is used
Your data is used solely to run the app's features: signing you in, showing challenges and battles, hosting and playing back replies, tallying votes, and ranking players. Riff uses no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking, and never sells or shares your data.
Data retention
Your data is retained while your account exists. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your profile, replies, challenges, and votes.
Your choices
You can report, block, or mute other users in the app, and delete your account at any time from Settings (which wipes all of your data). Contact privacy@erosdowgroup.com with any privacy questions or requests.
