What data is collected
Retro Status collects nothing. Your display name, profile photo, status message, mood, and theme preferences are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device storage and are never transmitted to any server. The app requests Camera & Photo Library access solely so you can set a profile photo, and Apple Music access solely to read your currently playing track for the widget. Both are read on-device and never uploaded or shared.
How data is used
On-device data is used only to render your status card and home screen widget. The app makes no external network requests of any kind.
Data retention
All data is stored locally on your device. To delete everything, uninstall the app.
Your choices
You control all data on your device. An optional one-time "Retro Pro" in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple; Retro Status never sees your payment details. Contact privacy@erosdowgroup.com with any privacy questions.
